I usually change cellphones every 12 months or so. Well that deadline is approaching and for the first time I am not in a rush for a new one. My actual cellphone is the Blackberry 8800 on service with T-Mobile. This was my first Blackberry as I was a long Palm fan. I had also purchased devices from Nokia, Motorola and Samsung. I know I had many good options out there I will said a lot more than any other time. But I am still waiting to see devises based on Google's backed platform Android and on LiMo. Also I am so addicted to my current Blackberry 8800 that I don't know if I will settle for a Blackberry upgrade. I mean I try the Apple's iPhone and is the ultimate device I will said is better than my Blackberry in many ways. But their are things I don't like from it or that it will cost me to get use to. To start I hate At&t ridiculus price structure as right now I have a 1000 anytime minutes, free mobile to mobile, free nights and weekends, unlimited texts & emails plus unlimited data for just $65 a similar deal on At&t will cost me around $120. And I got so use to type with one hand on my Blackberry that I don't see how I will deal with the iPhone's touch screen. The iPhone had some really good perks that my Blackberry lacks like it Safari Web browser. The best one on any mobile device so far (I use Opera Mini on my Blackberry) The integrated iPod and huge screen make it a winner. So at this moment my only option will be to wait more to see what Android and LiMo had to offer or go with a Blackberry Curve or iPhone I will also like to see if RIM update the OS on future devices to be more consumer friendly.
In my opinion the best 5 cellphones out there right now are:
#1 Apple iPhone
#2 Blackberry Curve
#3 Nokia N95
#4 Blackberry 8830
#5 Sidekick LX
